Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
penkay Posted December 15, 2022 Posted December 15, 2022 I have an older version of IPB and I am getting ready to upgrade, but I just noticed that the admin panel won't load no matter how I try to access it. All other functions work as far as postings and forums, but I am unable to maintain the site in anyway without access to the admin panel. It keeps giving me... EX145 Something went wrong. Please try again. If anyone knows how to fix this or even where to look, please let me know. Is there a way to just go ahead and upgrade and allow the upgrade to install a working database? I could really use some help figuring this one out as I have no backups that have a working admin panel to restore to.
Marc Posted December 15, 2022 Posted December 15, 2022 You have an issue with your mysql instance. That error indicates there are crashed tables. You would need to contact your hosting company about this. If you take a look in uploads/logs on the server, you should be able to ascertain which table is causing issues.
penkay Posted January 3, 2023 Author Posted January 3, 2023 It was an issue with the tables, Thank you so much for the feedback. I was able to restore the admin panel and get the upgrade done. Thanks again, much appreciated.
Mark H Posted January 3, 2023 Posted January 3, 2023 You're welcome, we're glad to hear the problem is resolved. 🙂 Â
