Are there any settings of showing the directories directly when users click the [Downloads] button?

By default, the [Downloads] button pointed to /files/, if I want to set it to /files/directories, are there any settings to do it? Or editing the Menu is the only way?

You would edit the menu in order to do this. There would be no other way to change the location. That downloads item on the menu currently will always lead to the main downloads page
