I know the 'app' issue has been beaten to a pulp and the ability to connect Invision Community to an app is fraught with technical challenges.  Perhaps there is a workaround for an online app?

I was reading about the BuddyBopss app, a social plugin for Wordpress, and this Wordpress Oauth SSO, https://plugins.miniorange.com/invision-community-single-sign-on-wordpress-sso-oauth-openid-connect

Important note: BuddyBoss is the successor to BuddyPress.

Would it be possible to use Invision Community as your main base but with this SSO, and using a Wordpress installation as just a stepping stone, essentially create an app for the Invision users?
