Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Riccardo Posted July 22, 2022 Posted July 22, 2022 (edited) Hello! In the privacy policy I find "Log files are maintained and analysed of all requests for files on this website's web servers" What this phrase exactly means? I'm trying to translate "Privacy Policy" in Italian.. Edited July 22, 2022 by Riccardo
Marc Posted July 22, 2022 Posted July 22, 2022 Im not sure what else I can add to what it actually says there. If a user downloads something, the system logs it
Riccardo Posted July 22, 2022 Author Posted July 22, 2022 Thank you Mark, I would like to better understand how the System works: Log files are maintained : Log files are saved? and analysed: in what sense "analysed"?
Marc Posted July 22, 2022 Posted July 22, 2022 Its simply talking about logging of the information there Riccardo 1

Riccardo Posted July 22, 2022 Author Posted July 22, 2022 (edited) Thank you both, So every time a user connects to the forum a log file is created, Am I correct? What information are memorized? How many days these info are stored? Edited July 22, 2022 by Riccardo
Marc Posted July 22, 2022 Posted July 22, 2022 Please note, that privacy policy there is not written by ourselves, so we are simply reading what you have sent to us. When a user logs into the site, its logged that they logged in., Those details are not removed at all.
