Can this be set up as a monthly goal?

 

Goals are not time based, I'm afraid. However, you can manually update it.

I don't know if I agree with marking that as a solution.  🙂

Too bad it wasn't more flexible.

Sorry that you do not agree. Solutions are marked in this forum to answer your question at hand (aka, what the software can currently do). If you would like to see this changed in a future release or want a third party solution to solve it for you, you can certainly post in the appropriate forums now that you know the answer 🙂 .
