Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Benjamin Gröner Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Hi community, I am Using Auth0 as auth provider with Invision Community. I setup the normal SSO process and it seems to work quite nicely. Unfortunately the Logout part still does not work. I expect the logout button to logout from my auth0 session as well as from invision. Is there anybody with experience regarding this issue? If I define the auth0 logout URL as external logout URL in invision I get logged out from auth0 correctly, but invision still thinks I am logged in. Cheers and kind regards, Ben
Jim M Posted January 25, 2022 Posted January 25, 2022 Could you please clarify if you're using the OAUTH login provider here or a third party plugin to connect with Auth0?
Benjamin Gröner Posted January 26, 2022 Author Posted January 26, 2022 Hi Jim, I have not additional plugin installed. Currently I use it as oAuth provider for a standard login method.
Jim M Posted January 26, 2022 Posted January 26, 2022 Thank you for confirming. This has been marked to a developer to verify what is happening here.
Ryan Ashbrook Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 Logout URL's are not actually supported by the software, currently. Currently, the correct behavior is that logging out from the community will only log you out of the community, and not the provider. This would likely be something third party, so you would need to consult the developer of that add-on.
