Unfortunately, I am not seeing this issue using Google Chrome on your community. If you click on the field does anything happen? What browser are you trying on?

Thanks, was somehow resolved. 

a different problem though: since the last update, I cant seem to edit a text block that is added to the side bar. it just opens up blank:

 

Before anything else, please could you test this on a default unaltered theme, with all 3rd party items disabled? If you are then still having the same problem, please let us know
