Our users posting as authenticated OAuth-Clients new content via REST API out of a third-party application.
Everything is working fine but unfortunately the new created content ist not marked as "followed" for the authors - although "Automatically follow content" is active. 

Does anyone have any idea to fix this? Thanks!
 

You can follow an item by calling to POST /core/members/{id}/follows. You can do this manually after posting the content item. I'll raise a suggestion internally to allow automatic following during posting.
