User Browser In Online Lists

About This File

This plugin will detect the user's browser and will display the icon next to their name in Who's Online and Recently Browing widgets.

Hi Adriano,

The bug is found in your plugin (very likely): the browsers of users in the Active Users widget are shown incorrectly - all the users there have the same browser icon like the first user in the list has:

In fact, the only first member uses a Vivaldi browser among them. On the WhosOnline widget the browsers are shown correctly.

Please advise,

Although I can see in your image, I don't see how it can happen. Both widgets uses the same template, which uses the same variable. Probably a "cache" issue. Have you tried to remove the block and add it again?

I have just tried to remove the widget and put it again, and I also just cleaned the cache in the ACP: nothing helps 😞 😞

Who's browing has permisison to view member profiles? First time happened? You are using it for a week now.

I have just given the rights to see browsers to all groups including guests: the issue is still there 😞

I am using your plugin for the first day today. Installed it in the morning.

I have also tried to reproduce it on my localhost, but it is a bit hard to do: even if I am using three accounts, the page refresh shows only one user on the page 😞

I just tested and I can confirm it. The second one here should show Chrome:

Will fix it until/during the weekend. 👍

Did you selected groups in the settings that should view the icons? Did you wait for the cache update as this is a widget and it is caches?

If so, send a message with your board URL and ACP account.

Yes. You're using this: https://invisioncommunity.com/files/file/7328-who-was-online-hours/

My plugin, as stated, covers only the official IPS widgets:

This plugin will detect the user's browser and will display the icon next to their name in Who's Online and Recently Browing widgets.

Hi Adriano,

On the IPS v.4.4.9 I have noticed, that users using Vivaldi browser are now shown as using Chrome browser, although, in fact they are using Vivaldi:

(I personally have never used Chrome in the past 3-4 years)

Could you please check, if there is something wrong there?

Thanks,

How does it shows on Account Settings-> Recently Used Devices?

The detection is automatic. I don’t pick it manually so something may have changed in the framework.

Basically, there's no image for Yandex on IPS4 (applications/core/interface/logos/browsers):
