Child Themes?

Is there anyway to create Child Themes in the ACP?

I would like to have my 'default theme', and create child themes where I could change background colours etc.

Is this possible?

You can, just select a parent them when creating a new one, however for what you want, there is no need for this, we have the built in feature of custom.css, in which case is never touched on upgrades, and you can use for your custom code.

Thank you for the answer, I had just figured this out myself about 10 minutes ago, but it is good to get clarification.

Our main theme is heavily modified (even using the custom.css) and it is a pain to update. Thankfully, this will cut my work down a lot 🙂
