First, enable Our Picks in ACP -> System -> Social Media Promotion -> Our Picks -> enable it.

Then after, go to any content item (topic, image, file, blog entry, etc) and click in the PROMOTE button:

For some reason the Promote button does not appear everywhere (not for blog posts for example). Use the built in theme only.

Go to the topic template in your skin on ACP and click in the REVERT button, just in case you've edited that template.

Nothing to revert... 

Have gone through all the various types of content (posts, articles, links in Link Directory, Tutorials, calender events etc) and the only items not possible to promote to Our Picks are blog posts and images in the Gallery.

Of course this is enabled, I can promote topics, articles etc. Using default theme. I'll submit.

I missed this and it doesn't appear to me too:

Not sure if Blogs are excluded for some reason... best option is to submit a ticket.

Submitted a ticket and got the reply that this is a known bug which Will be fixed in 4.2.2

With 4.2.2, blog posts can be promoted but still not images in Gallery. Is this coming in next update?

I'm also a bit confused about this new feature. So far, I've managed to promote 4 articles (without any schedule), but after that it stopped adding new ones. They are queued but just don't appear. Why?
