Two dimension in category possible?

I want to have a database with two category fields

1 Country listing

2 Functional listing say chemical engineering,  electrical engineering

A person chemical engineer in India will like to see jobs  of chemical engineering in India

How can we display the same from user point of view ?

If both are individual database fields (not database categories) then the user can filter the database based on one or both fields.

ok then we should not have traditional category - direct data in record ?

Not sure but - can we decide which fields are possible for filtering?

Yes. Its a field setting.
