Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted November 25, 20168 yr My members are driving me crazy with their blog formatting. They're posting in all sorts of bright colors and crazy font sizes which make the posts almost unreadable. I feel like this makes my site look very unprofessional, and prefer to keep the font sizes and colors consistent across the site. I've removed the editor options for font size and colors, but they persist. I suspect the members are using another program (like Word) and pasting from there. I don't want to disable pasting, because many of the entries are very long and would be extremely inconvenient to re-type. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, how did you fix it? Any suggestions on solving this issue are appreciated!
November 25, 20168 yr Have you tried the Editor settings? You can force the removal of formatting in there, then if people want to add any formatting back in they would have to use the buttons you have made available in the toolbar. Also make sure members don't have access to the HTML.
November 25, 20168 yr If you've already removed color/size from editor settings, I would try toggling off the paste behavior feature that keeps the color/size formatting. (screenshot of the setting page I'm referring to: https://i.gyazo.com/0a34023c8b8c395e25eacbed2316e90a.png)
