Setting Email smtp problems.

Hi,

I am trying to configure the email settings for G Suite Gmail for business to handle my forum emails.

I have tried the smtp setting sent to me by Google but it doesn't seem to be working.

smtp.gmail.com

I tried ssl, I tried tsl different port numbers etc.

Any ideas what the connection issue might be?

Are you on a VPS, dedicated or shared hosting?

If VPS/Dedi check that you are allowing outbound connections on that port through the firewall (you ARE using a firewall hopefully if you are on a VPS/dedi).
