November 3, 20168 yr Community Expert Users can create albums which are their own "area" within a Gallery category. Example: if my community had a Gallery category that was "Vacation Photos", I could create an album for a trip last year to "Mexico" then a different album for a trip I did this year to "Europe" and upload all of my photos to those respective albums. No one else will be able to upload images to those albums as they are mine.

November 3, 20168 yr There is one gallery. Within that one gallery, you can set up multiple categories (vacation, sports, family or whatever). Users can create personal albums in any category (if you set permissions that way), and they have total control over albums they create. Those albums show up in a tab on the user;s profile. So, these albums function similar to a "personal gallery" but are actually part of the larger gallery for the site. No albums are created by default...
