Where would i find the cron log..?

Here's the  task.php  set to 777 on the permissions. 

public_html/applications/core/interface/task

If you're looking in cPanel, I haven't the slightest clue.  I've not seen a cPanel set up in quite a while.  

Best to contact your host and ask them where you can find the data that's typically found in the crond logs showing job execution.

Well support ended up dealing with it as there was a problem and they installed a patch to force the indexing...
