Posted April 26, 20168 yr I set up a database, page, etcetera, where I could display a travel guide. All went well until I added the first article. One of the fields I created was for a "teaser" paragraph. When I go into the article listing for the category the article is in, I just see a black line with the words "Teaser Paragraph." When I click on the article title and view the article, the teaser paragraph looks okay, but there is a line under it saying 04/19/2016 04/19/2016 http://www.turkeycentral.com/uploads/ The actual article listing is here: http://www.turkeycentral.com/travel-guide/mediterranean-turkey/alanya/ And the actual article is here: http://www.turkeycentral.com/travel-guide/mediterranean-turkey/alanya/riviera-imperial-deluxe-hotel-spa/ How might I properly display the actual teaser paragraph in the article listing, and get rid of the link under the teaser paragraph in the actual article?
April 26, 20168 yr Regarding the listing: You have the listing set to “forum mode” and the teaser paragraph field is set to use a black badge. Both things won’t work well in this case. Try the article mode and try setting the teaser listing to “no formatting”. Regarding the record display: Check which fields you have added to the database and how they are set up for display mode. It looks there are some additional fields (date? uploads?) there. I wouldn’t know how this should be a result of the teaser field. P.S. The best option would be to create manual record/listing templates to place and style this teaser paragraph as you want it.
