Pages- problem creating block template

i want to create a block template 

isn't there supposed to be a "Record Feed"? there is no Record feed template :/ any idea?

This is me going by memory so i may be missing a step as im on mobile at the moment.. But hopefully i can point you in the right direction.

 

When you create a block on the last step it asks what template to use.

I believe there is an option to use a template as a base to modify from or something like that.

Select that, then an option to save as new template appears. Select that and save.

Now when you go to edit block templates your new template will appear.
