4.1.7 - slow to post

I just updated to 4.1.7, I was a few versions behind and really wanted the improved video and image embedding.

It seems pretty obvious that it takes a lot longer after clicking the submit button for a post to go through.  This morning before the update it was instant, now it can take a few seconds.

Has anyone else experienced this?  What can be done to correct it?

I haven't experienced it. Have you waited until the rebuilding/indexing process finished?

It was a minor update, there was no rebuilding.  Posts are still erratic.  Some are "OK", some are pretty slow.  It was definitely faster before I updated.

I found it faster than before, have you checked your hosting service logs.

I don't know what to say apart from submitted a ticket if it is a software issue.
