Pages Need help with Database

I'd like to create a database for stories, many of which will have multiple chapters. Is there any way to either:

1) allow writers to easily insert a page break for new chapters

-or-

2) set up the database so writers can add chapters, perhaps by linked records?

 

I greatly appreciate any advice, ideas, or suggestions you can offer.

The most simple solution would be to create a new category for each story. Then the records in that category are the chapters of the story. The downside is that categories can only be created by admins. 

Unfortunately Pages doesn’t allow to give users the choice to create “x” instances of a field yet. So you can’t create a chapter field which adapts to the specific story. That functionality would help a lot of use cases.

It sounds like there's no easy way to do what I'm looking for. Hopefully they'll add this feature for the databases soon. I'm sure many people would find it useful.
