Can widgets be parsed in pages templates ?

Can i make use of the various widgets in pages templates?

Pages > Blocks.

Most widgets can be re-used as a plugin block, which you can then manually call in templates.

was more looking at calling then direct really - both to save time/effort in duplicating them and also as a  workaround as some of the plugin blocks that have errors on filters while the widgets haven't

guess there ain't a way then ?
