Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
querschlaeger Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Hello, how can I disable some HTML-Tags? Or better: I just want to allow some of them with a whitelist? It seems BBCodes are gone now, but I don't want that users can change font type or background color of posts. I can change view permission of the button but this does not disable the HTML code itself. Everyone can write and style within Word/Office and copy all the format styles into the post.
querschlaeger Posted June 4, 2015 Author Posted June 4, 2015 Also I don't want that someone can post something like this: https://jsfiddle.net/2u9qet0g/2/ (just select the complete result, copy it and paste it here)some textbackground red and I need a lot of space. Because I like it!some text
opentype Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 You can force plain text pasting for the editor. That strips out every possible HTML styling.
querschlaeger Posted June 4, 2015 Author Posted June 4, 2015 But this can't be the solution?! At the moment I run a vBulletin 4 (want to convert). And the WYSIWYG editor just converts HTML to BBCode when pasting. If a code is not supported/if there is no matchable BBCode the styling will be removed.
opentype Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Feel free to explore all the options of the editor: http://docs.ckeditor.comIts an external product and the functionality is not (or barely) controlled through the IPS software.
