Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Yesterday at 02:04 PM
rbiss Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 In the previous version there was the ability to make an IP Content page the root page of a site (if if installation not on root file). Is it still possible in 4.0?
Meddysong Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 Systems > Applications - Click on the star icon to make the relevant application your default page.In the case of Pages, you'll also need to indicate which page is the default. Go to Pages in the ACP and click the dropdown arrow of the relevant page, then click "Make default page for this folder".
rbiss Posted April 6, 2015 Author Posted April 6, 2015 The folder is not the domain's root folder. I believe there was some form of index file that was inserted into the root to make the forum's default folder appear under the root. I can't remember precisely what the process was under version 3 and wondering if whatever it is if it still works under 4.
rbiss Posted April 8, 2015 Author Posted April 8, 2015 Is 4.0 going to have this?https://www.invisionpower.com/support/guides/_/ips-community-suite-apps/ip-cont/make-ipcontent-your-homepage-r273
