Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
Midnight Modding Posted April 26, 2014 Posted April 26, 2014 Eh, why is there no separate section for board, as there is for some of the other apps? Anyway, I think a good idea would be to have posts needing approval still show up to the person who posted them and in the person's post history (for himself/herself, not others) even before being approved. But obviously have them have a different background color to distinguish, like unapproved posts usually do.

Quote As an incidental feature - previously if a member made a post and it needed to be approved, they would get a confirmation message telling them so but wouldn't be able to see the post. This sometimes led to confusion when members missed the confirmation message and thought their post hadn't been submitted. In 4.0, users can now see their own posts which are pending approval '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>
