Michael Posted September 12, 2013 Share Posted September 12, 2013 No, both are built-in. Announcements are called just that, and can be created in the ModeratorCP. Important topics are called Pinned topics, and are created just like normal topics but you then have to choose to Pin the topic when you create it (or afterwards). Any announcements active in a given forum will show up first, followed by any pinned topics, then all of the other standard topics. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
