Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted April 23, 201311 yr A friend just switched to another software. They don't have a dedicated download app, and that's a big deal for me. But they do have some things I wished IPBoard would consider. One thing he shared with me I really like is you can put CSS edits into an external css file. That way, they aren't intermingled with what IPBoard calls a "skin". That makes upgrading a lot easier and it makes all of your CSS edits centralized and self contained. No taking them out and putting them back in or re-integrating them into the skin. Now, after an upgrade, you may have to modify your CSS or comment out lines and add them in one at a time, but that's still easier than what we do now in IPboard. Another thing is a site wide color picker...
