Is there a way for you to code the mobile skin so users can use the entire status update feature? To read comments, post comments, post new etc?

Although it doesn't help immediately, our goal is to have fully-featured mobile access in 4.0 - which would include all the status update features. Unfortunately the 3.x mobile skin doesn't support them (though the mobile app does).
