That wouldn't qualify as an ego boost but rather a failed attempt at an ego boost. Your failure to report it leads to a failure to fix it. So your purposely not reporting it was your failure, not IPS's. If you had reported it back then and it wasn't fixed by now (and considering the bug it's one that would have been), then that would justify an ego boost.

You obviously don't understand the importance of feedback, bug reporting, communication in general, respect and also the importance of why they use their own community as a guinea pig before doing a 'final' release.

If you make a conscious choice not to report a bug then you're only hurting yourself and every other client.
