Posted May 9, 201212 yr Does exist a set of permissions, or a mod., relative to the "age" of topics, in order to allow users to write or not in a topic, if the latest post is older than a "n" period? Please, let me know. I have some trouble with users that "bump" posts really old.
May 9, 201212 yr Hello. You can use the archiving system to archive the old topics making it so you can't reply to them.
May 9, 201212 yr Author Hello, Shigure. Thank you for the tip: never seen that area. I've done, even if I see that anyway I can answer to the old (than 60 days) topics. I'll check it later. I don't want that the topics disappear, but simply they remain only visible. Again thank you, nice tip.
May 9, 201212 yr The archived works slowly so as not to overload your board. The topics wont disappear so no worries.
May 9, 201212 yr Author Hey Salvo, you can use a hook: Like always, Adriano is the best!!! Thank you both. I appreciate soo much!
