Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
TrixieTang Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Currently if you only want to get a pop-up for let's say Private Conversations you can't do that, you only have the option of getting the pop-up for all notifications or none. You should be able to choose which type of notifications you'll get the pop-up for, it shouldn't be an all or none setting.
Michael Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Just choose Inline for each item you want the popup for here: http://community.invisionpower.com/index.php?app=core&module=usercp&tab=core&area=notifications Unless I'm misunderstanding the question here.
Ryan H. Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Unless I'm misunderstanding the question here. I believe he's talking between the popup and the drop-down menu. As far as I know, it's all one way or the other.
TrixieTang Posted April 15, 2010 Author Posted April 15, 2010 Unless I'm misunderstanding the question here. You can't select which specific types of notifications that you get the pop-up for, it's either get the pop-up for all of the inline notifications you have selected or none of them. I for one only want to get the pop-up for PMs and I'm sure others do too, but if I enable the "Show popup when I receive a new inline notification" option it means all inline notifications will display the pop-up. You should be able to choose which types of notifications will display the pop-up, it shouldn't be a show the pop-up for all inline notifications or none setting.
