Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted September 14, 200816 yr I just found this out from one of my newly made global mods and thought it was sort of sad that I couldn't change it (because it happens to admins too) but there should be a way to override the default bypass moderation queue (Globals and Admins). Example of use is a nomination forum that I have but don't want anyone but staff to see the posts and if a global or admin post they must hide their post which, if you forget, can have bad consequences.
September 15, 200816 yr Yes there is but you should also be able to override that on a forum basis as well.
September 15, 200816 yr Maybe I am not all the way awake yet but I am not sure what you are getting at. sorry about not understanding.
September 15, 200816 yr Well you have default groups that can bypass moderation queues (via the user group setting) but it would be nice that you could force them to abide by moderation on some forums with removing the option for the whole group to bypass normal moderation queues. There is a way to give groups bypass on a per forum basis so there should possibly be a way to force it for those that normally bypass.
September 15, 200816 yr How about instead of that, include a "Hide Post" option to make it invisible when posting, just like there is a "Pin Topic" option for moderators/admins. Also a global option to make invisible posts/topics viewable to their creators would be nice as well.

I just think a way for those that don't obey moderation to not show their posts would be ideal.
