Yay thanks, i was editing the profile_portal.js so I could add a new tab (One that was part of profile.php) and it was pretty hard to find it.

Cant wait for RC2 now :)

you don't need to edit the js file to add a new tab, it has a plugin system like the portal which automatically adds the tab itself you just have to define it the profile conf files.

wondering if maybe we have the script as it was and its optimized on the fly... e.g. summit that removed whitespace and comments etc and cache's it somewhere for global use but keeping the file format is tact. just thinking out loud here not sure how viable an option it is.

Even if dev versions of the scripts are made available, won't board admins find it harder to edit a giant line (if need be for mods etc.) than a file with normal formatting?

No, all they need to do is take the dev copy and edit it, then replaced the optimized one with it. They could have it re-optimized if they want to.

I have a big forum ranking 1000 in Alexa, ~ 300.000 hits / hour, if the .js file was optimized, it's cute (w00t)

That's good news to hear that the unoptimised javascript will be included
