Hello, If I activate the option "Show Records like articles" I get a short preview of each article (as plain text) listed on the page. There are a few things I would like to change and hope, you can help me. I'm missing the formatting in the listing. If I click on "Read More" I can see some the links, some bold text , but this is missing on the listing page. After doing everything for the twitter login handler set up, I tested it out and it says it will need these permissions This application will be able to: Read Tweets from your timeline. See who you follow, and follow new people. Update your profile. Post Tweets for you. Will not be able to: Access your direct messages. See your email address. See your Twitter password. Why does the login handler need any of these? This is going to deter people from logging in via Twitter? Why does it need read and write permissions and not read only?

This must be something obvious, but I cannot find it. I am admin, so naturally I should have all permission regarding promoting, but when I visit the Our Picks page on my community, I am greeted by this: Is it some obscure permission setting I am missing or it is a bug? And yeah, I checked, admin group is allowed to promote items. In fact, I can promote items, I can delete promoted items, but for some reason I cannot view them on the page.

Hello I'm developing a small service and the users can write comments. The users should logg in to write a comment, but I will prevent them to register a new account, because they are already registred in the IP Board. The user simply login with IP Board username/email and password. I validate it and set a $_SESSION['logged_in'] variable to true. Very simple. But I don't understand, how I do this. I guess it is not possible with REST API (I was very confused as I realized that, because in my opinion, it should be possible). Since upgrade I cant embed YouTube links anywhere. I mean, removing the automatic embed and just show links work, but whenever the automatic embed occurs and the video shows I cant save that post, download or whatever. It just loops back into edit mode and can't be saved until I convert the embed into a raw link.

Hey peeps. I'm having some trouble using the "Add files from server path" function when trying to upload files as admin. Basically nothing is happening and I have tried every path name I can figure out. I have uploaded a file using FTP to a folder in root named "files", so I tried using the following paths; files/filename /home/hostname/public_html/files/filename /hostname/public_html/files/filename /public_html/files/filename And as I said, nothing is working. So I'm sure it's just me that is confused about how to use the function. Any help?

Is anyone else having an issue copying images in 4.2? Since I've upgraded if someone posts an image in a topic and I try to copy and paste it into my own post, it just gives me a blank space where the image is supposed to be. I tested it here on the test forum and it worked properly. What do I have setup wrong or what can I change to remedy this? Thanks!

I have a question about how to integrate the forums, clubs, and pages, the services I have in IP Board. I am creating a social learning site and there will be different membership levels. One will be a social membership with a monthly enrichment program and clubs/groups. The other will be for the courses and will have forums as well as groups. This is all on a WP site, with LifterLMS for the courses. I am using their theme Launchpad and Beaver Builder. Woo is handling the commerce side. Hi, I am running the latest version of IPB with NO PAGES APP, so will need "old school" answers. I want to add a some text and a link on our front page of a private, forum. We have no guest option or visitors can see our side bar content. I simply want to add a link to the front page that will give possible new users more information before they join. I have a PHP expert in my admin team and even he can't find where to do this. Please advise. The search of this forum for home page and log in page edit brought up no results. How do I make the navbar so it is one strip across like above rather than tabs? Also I have been trying to make the 2 navbars 2 different shades of green with white text. But the top tabs and text show up as white even when I have change them. I have deleted other themes and just have the new one and have not used the Easy Customization.
