/admin/?app=core&module=membersettings&controller=referrals Seems like it was for hosting (which was decommissioned I think). It would be great to have a referral system where we can track and reward members who refer other members. Is this already possible?

After a post is reported, the user is not able to see the moderator's reply and the report status itself. The user does not know whether his report has been completed or rejected. I know that the user would have to have moderator privileges to access /modcp/ but can't this be improved in some other way? One of the easier ways would be to send a notification to the user after marking the report as "Complete". It would be nice if the user could see the moderator's comment, right?

A couple of ideas to enhance the events feature: On the day of the event, it would be cool if there was a way to promote that event more. Automatically being able to schedule an announcement or a alert XX minutes before the event takes place. In the Upcoming Events widget, add a "Happening Now" call out and a link to join the event. Add the ability to automatically remind folks via email or PM of the event.

Hi, Please think of possibility to extend current menu manager functionality and allow us to create multiple menus we can place via sidebar live edit or by placing a key code within templates. It would also be great if you could extend menu types, e.g. to bring extra menu drop down style like you have here, at IPS top menu 🙂

I’ve seen on other forum platforms, the ability for mods/admins to flag important posts in a topic with ‘threadmarks’, which can be collated and presented as a drop-down menu situated next to a topic’s pagination. Allowing users to quickly jump to areas of a topic where a significant update or subject change has occurred. I can’t find any such feature or third-party plugin to replicate this on InvisionCommunity, and I think it would be a great simple function that’d improve the browsing experience for users who return to a long fast-moving topic after a period of time.

We can create some really useful blocks to place on our websites using the Pages module. Why can't we put those same blocks into our system emails? Like newsletters, for instance.

I would like to suggest a feature for the clubs application. There should exist the possibility of creating a custom rejection forum for each club. Whenever a user tries to join a club, if the request is rejected, he will receive a message or email with a custom rejection message that each club should have in its settings. Right now, the user will receive a custom non-personalized message regardless of the club or the reasons why his request was rejected. Thanks

Hello, The thumbnail size setup function of the screenshots is too weak in Downloads of current version. It would be much better if we could set the dimensions or the file size of the thumbnail and let the system to do the scaling job. If I uploaded a 5MB picture as a screenshot, then it would show up as the original size which is very slow sometimes. Thanks.

Hello, Currently, the Clubs are not integration with the built-in user group permissions in the forums. Anyone can request to join a club or see the club if the club has been configured that way. The only way to NOT SHOW the club and prevent users from joining is by hiding them and making them private 😞 However, that's not the solution. ACP has user groups that are used for products and subscriptions. Why aren't they used for clubs as well? It makes no sense. I've been trying to find how to change the Club permissions so that ONLY certain user groups can see the clubs or even request to join the club. I just can't find it. It looks like the user groups…

It's great that we can @ mention users dynamically in the post editor, but it would be a brilliant step up if we could do the same for Page/CMS records we have created on our community. Similar to how the individual Database Relationship custom field works, but baked into the post editor, that dynamically links to the record page and modifies its link URL and title if the record itself is ever edited (to avoid dead links). At the moment, I'm having to link through to on-site database records manually, by copy-pasting URLs into embedded text links... if later down the line, the target database record has a title or URL slug change, I have to find the post/s I made tha…

Hello, would it be possible to provide some improvements in the future for the purpose of GDPR? Unfortunately, some of the awesome features of Invision are not usable or limited in European countries. 😞 The following points would be especially interesting: Disable saving of IP addresses completely. Load external embeddings only after the user has agreed. The possibility to run services like twemoji or if feasible the spam defense service locally on the own server. Best regards, Vakarian

As I understand it (very new to the software) if you create a custom Primary Menu item that will have a number of Secondery Menu items that you have to declare the type of the Primary Menu item as "External Link" and you are forced to enter a link to somewhere. Then when a user accesses the site and clicks on the Primary Menu (an instinctive action if you don't realise you just need to hover over it) then they are sent to whatever link you have entered. I would prefer it if the Primary Menu item ignored the click and simply continued to show the Secondary Menu items. Hope that makes sense, or maybe I have missed something and that option is already available ? …

Hello, Can we designate the gallery ID when we set the Image Feed in different forums? For example, in forum A, I can set the Image Feed of gallery A, while in forum B, I can set the Image Feed of gallery B. Different forums, different Image Feeds. Thanks.

I wish for the option (in a future release) to disable any and all outgoing e-mails from the system. Have you lost your password? Make a new account. Want to be notified? Log in and check your notifications. The ideal setup would be for there to be no outgoing e-mail at all. I notice there is already the option not requiring e-mail confirmation when registering (that's a good start).

I've used IPS for several years now and love it. However, I still don't know everything about it or what's possible. I recently setup a Mastodon server and realized that managing another "thing" sucks. I'd love for IPS to have an integrated timeline / activity stream where people can comment and read what's happening. Perhaps this is alreayd available and I don't know it. I know we can posts status messages and view activity streams, but they are separate items. A Mastodon / Twitter syle capability would be really nice. Plus, striking while the iron is hot, is always advised :~) If I could place this ina. block at the top of the activity stream, that would be re…

Thank you IPS for this new feature especially @Daniel F I myself love it, and we hope to have some improvements. My suggestion is to add "Alerts Saved Actions" where you can add saved titles to use and pick from whenever you send an alert to members instead typing them each time you are sending an alert.

Cloudflare has an "Early Hints" option for all plans. This option significantly speeds up the loading of resources such as CSS, JS or Fonts. Feature is only available for Chrome, but support for other browsers is expected to come. More here: Early Hints update: faster Internet for everyone "103 early hints" in short Early Hints

It's a real boring task to change every single forum setting. Especially just to change the forum icons when you have a lot of forums.

Hi I know that atm we can set a limit on the number of posts / replies in a certain group, however I am interested in how to set up a group limit for creation of new topic only and separately for replies?? I'm pretty sure we don't have this option and it will be good idea if we could control permissions for different groups, example- maximum 3 new topics a day and separately 20 comments a day. That will definitely slow dow any unnecessary spam from some of the members etc

Can you use an international format to display dates? This looks like 2nd of February to me and others this side of the Atlantic ocean. Using a format like 2022/11/02 or 02 November 2022 would make the whole site easier to read. This just looks like an old update to me 🙂

Currently when you have a sidebar display, the page looks something like the following: Now when you add either an RSVP or add a location, it essentially cuts the display in half and places the 'Location' along side the display: When adding either of those, it would be nice to move the location of that block(s) below the display and keep the full size rendering shown in the first display. Thank you for your consideration.

/checkout and potentially /search should be disallowed by default. Seeing a lot of IndexNow requests for those pages. I've blocked it on my end but thought it could be useful to add to the default
