Richard Arch Posted February 15, 2022 Posted February 15, 2022 The release "IPS Community Suite 4.6.9" Fixed an issue where banned users show in @mentions. Can something similar be applied to private messages to prevent banned members showing in the "To" list as you type? kyriazhs1975 1
Richard Arch Posted December 4, 2022 Author Posted December 4, 2022 Version v4.7.5 still lists banned members in private messages 😞
Gary Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 Hi @Richard Arch, I will put this up to our dev team to see if it is something we can include in a future release. I'll come back to you with any feedback. 😉 Richard Arch 1
Randy Calvert Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 Take a look at the following plugin. It will move a banned member to a specific member group which you could set to not be searchable/findable. Richard Arch 1
Richard Arch Posted December 4, 2022 Author Posted December 4, 2022 Thanks Gary And thanks Randy for that tip Randy Calvert 1
teraßyte Posted December 4, 2022 Posted December 4, 2022 (edited) Hmm, I'll have a look and see if I can add this into the plugin I released recently related to banned members. It seems like a perfect fit for it: EDIT: My plugin can also change the member's group but it would be nice to have the option to still hide them without changing their group if needed. Unfortunately, it doesn't remove members from the PM lists 😞 Thanks teraßyte
