Example: Since there are many members who's following the IPS release notes page https://invisioncommunity.com/release-notes/ we do receive notifications whenever they create a new release note, but whenever they edit the title especially during the beta versions releasing, we don't receive anything. It would be nice if we have an option to send a new notification whenever the title is edited/updated. Example: Stuart Silvester updated a release Release Notes: 4.7.7 Beta 3

I'm adding multi-day events but each day has varying hours. For now I'm just listing the start of day 1 and end of the last day but it would be better to allow specifying hours for each day when applicable as these venues aren't open 24/7 and it isn't very efficient to add an Event per day to achieve this, not to mention each Event being considered unique and taking up duplicate space on your Upcoming Events block/list.

When doing upgrades or updates I tend to screenshot the resource check page. Would be nice to see outside of an upgrade.

I am using the ticket system of the commerce app. In case I am not overlooking something, a member who has created a ticket does not receive any notification about an answer to his ticket in the front-end. At least I cannot find such an option in the notification settings. I'd love to see settings for tickets there, similar to the other notification options (email and/or notifications when a ticket receives an answer).

Recently as part of the ongoing spam problem we've been having, I had the site do a forced password reset on member accounts older than 6 months. That worked fine and they got the message, but it was a rather generic message that most people would probably mistake for spam (and indeed some mail servers treated it as such). It would be nice if instead of whatever generic message is buried in the system, we could optionally choose to write a custom one of our own for each event. I would have liked to explain the reasoning behind why the site was suddenly asking so many people to change passwords out of the blue. Yes, posting something on the forum itself is well and go…

Hi there, I don't let my users uploading any attachment anywhere. However, I use Pages as an Articles/Blog database and I'd like my users be able to create very rich texts with images. I'd like to be able to override the attachment rights from Pages databases in order to let my users upload attachments and images to their rich contents. Any chance to make this available? Cheers, Ibai

Could we please have the possibility to add a 'NoAI' tag to our forums content? I frigging hate these algorithms. 😅 Thanks! -- Rick

For moderator bookkeeping and discussion it would be helpful if you could direct link to a specific alert within modcp (to a page containing just that alert). Right now the only way to view an alert as a moderator is to scroll through the list of all of them, which is not useful when referencing it elsewhere.

Adding the breakdown of countries within UK to Physical Address / Geolocation tables

The UK is named in the software for the IPS Geolocation, however England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland aren't unfortunately. Members want to select the specific country they live rather than overall 'United Kingdom' banner, therefore can we please add these individual countries to the list? I know from reading through other things on Invision that work on the back of this Geolocation database, that this would significantly improve other applications and other resources that use the same database. Thanks in advance.

Gallery image notifications appear to link to the category an image is in, not the image. If the categories default sort mode isn't "most recent first" the image is unlikely to even appear on the page.

Can you guys make this setting works on selected pages database instead of all databases. It happens that some mods accidently copy a topic to a wrong database because they have access to all of them.

I think a good addition to the attachment manager located in the ACP would be to see files uploaded in the Downloads app. As of now only attachments uploaded through the editor is shown there and there is no way to quickly find large files or duplicates with slightly adjusted names (or same name for that matter). There is no easy way to manage files in Downloads app right now and it would be about time to show that app some love Maybe it should even have its very own manager located in the Downloads segment of the ACP where we can see files uploaded and a filter to show files and/or screenshots. Thanks

When a person pays for a product on our site, and chooses not to save the credit card information on the checkout page, "Guest" is passed to our payment gateway, Stripe, as the payer's name. Also, the payer's email address information is missing. This causes additional work for our accountant, who must look up the payer's name, for our accounting system. Please pass the payer's name and email address for all transactions. Attached are screenshots from our test Stripe account. We are on IPS version v4.7.6. Thank you.

While we are improving the Gallery, maybe there is still time to squeeze these in: Option to use the FIRST image as album cover Currently images are shown in reverse in feeds and the last image is used as cover by default. That is very counter-intuitive and handled differently by any modern social media or image sharing site. A “cover” is by definition the “front” image and that should usually be the image people upload first, not last. I have a use case where I upload old copyright-free books and showing the backside of the book as cover by default makes no sense at all, but I would expect this request applies to pretty much every gallery. Even on a car or dog …

If the attachments are unavailable to guests, we get a ugly message. Instead, I would suggest removing the redirect and adding a login popup. This will eliminate unnecessary errors, reduce server load, and more encourage guests to log in. Cheers.

Is it possible to make the featured events slider (that appears on the Events homepage) a block so we can include just the slider in other pages? Is there already an easy way to do this?

As per title. YouTube has community tab under each channel. Would be worth to have possibility to post to there from forums on PUSH basis.

Hey! I was wondering if is it possible (and if it's not, is it planned?) to paginate in Pages records. Simple question, just that. For long texts, usually is better to paginate. In addition, Google doesn't like very long articles. Isn't it? Cheers!

Hi, My suggestions to improve Events and Commerce: . Events: The possibility for physical events to add an url field which is transformed in a button "more info" or "buy tickets" on the front end (like it's already the case for online event) -> so members/event organizers can have a CTA which redirect on their ticketing system. . Commerce: Possibility to sell ticket using Commerce (paid events linked to Commerce) -> so memberrs/event organizers can sell their events tickets directly via Commerce. I'm open to discuss also with developers to create an app for these features.

So in recent weeks my forum has had a wave of spammers who have been able to freely post blatantly obvious spam on the site. Word filtering is absolutely ineffective to preempt them, and in the most recent case, isn't stopping them at all despite the terms being added to the post filter. In the support thread I filed, it was made clear your current anti-spam system only deals with user accounts, NOT with the content of the things they're posting. I'd say that's proven to be more or less useless. What IPS needs is preemptive/proactive spam defense, not reactive flagging and content deletion. To that end, I'd like to very strongly suggest that IPB set up a partnership …

The editor displays buttons for each screen resolution. When editing a thread on a desktop, we see a limited number of buttons for mobile devices. The editor has a lot of free space on the toolbar, it should be filled to the maximum.

Would it be possible to get a option to set a time/date to send a Bulk Mail? We use it to send out our newsletter and the lack of schedule options means we have to do it all live. And when I have time to get everything set for email never matches the optimum time to send that email.

Word Count

I appreciate this might be a little niche. However for the site I'm building it would be enormously helpful and there are plenty of other site genres out there which would benefit from this as well - essay sites, journalism sites, literary sites etc. A word count option in articles. When an article is posted the option to have a side bar appended to the layout with a word count showing, and even features such as "search by word count", could be really super useful in certain industries.

Could we have more 2FA options such as support for the YubiKey when it comes to IPS out of the box? Thank you. This has been brought up before: In fact there used to be a mod for it:
