Hi, My suggestions to improve Events and Commerce: . Events: The possibility for physical events to add an url field which is transformed in a button "more info" or "buy tickets" on the front end (like it's already the case for online event) -> so members/event organizers can have a CTA which redirect on their ticketing system. . Commerce: Possibility to sell ticket using Commerce (paid events linked to Commerce) -> so memberrs/event organizers can sell their events tickets directly via Commerce. I'm open to discuss also with developers to create an app for these features.

So in recent weeks my forum has had a wave of spammers who have been able to freely post blatantly obvious spam on the site. Word filtering is absolutely ineffective to preempt them, and in the most recent case, isn't stopping them at all despite the terms being added to the post filter. In the support thread I filed, it was made clear your current anti-spam system only deals with user accounts, NOT with the content of the things they're posting. I'd say that's proven to be more or less useless. What IPS needs is preemptive/proactive spam defense, not reactive flagging and content deletion. To that end, I'd like to very strongly suggest that IPB set up a partnership …

The editor displays buttons for each screen resolution. When editing a thread on a desktop, we see a limited number of buttons for mobile devices. The editor has a lot of free space on the toolbar, it should be filled to the maximum.

Would it be possible to get a option to set a time/date to send a Bulk Mail? We use it to send out our newsletter and the lack of schedule options means we have to do it all live. And when I have time to get everything set for email never matches the optimum time to send that email.

I appreciate this might be a little niche. However for the site I'm building it would be enormously helpful and there are plenty of other site genres out there which would benefit from this as well - essay sites, journalism sites, literary sites etc. A word count option in articles. When an article is posted the option to have a side bar appended to the layout with a word count showing, and even features such as "search by word count", could be really super useful in certain industries.

A feature on many content rich websites is a print icon at the top or bottom of pages which strips the surrounding framework from the page and just sends the relevant content to the printer for when people want a hard copy or want to make a PDF. My site is heavy on written content pages where the content I'm writing is the main selling point of the site. It is a resource site. So it would be really helpful to allow my members to print out the content I'm creating without having to copy and paste the text over to another application. Hello, Some of my Marketplace resources are received updates as far as IPS ver 4.4, which is gonna be removed soon and out of support entirely by IPS. the most requested and frequently wanted of them is Infobox buttons and by their nature, only can be install like a normal CKEditor plugin, as .zip files... and since .zip files can't be upload in marketplace anymore as of IPS ver 4.5 forward, simply updating this resource is also stopped. There is currently no decent way of creating categories and subcategories for clubs like there is for forums, downloads etc. This would be a very good QoL improvement over simply dumping all of them into a giant list with filter buttons. Please let us assign categories via extra fields or other methods. This should also come with a choice about whether to show all clubs, or separate them into categories on the root clubs page.

I need to offer the EU VAT ID check, but it is also costing me customers. People get stuck for various reasons if the VAT check isn’t successful and then they just give up. I just lost a sale of over 700 Euros yesterday. And it turns out: the user didn’t even had to add a VAT number since he was in the same country as me. It would to be useful to provide better explanations and provide an escape route so people don’t get stuck. I will probably tweak the language strings myself, but a proper solution for all IPS customers also wouldn’t hurt. Add a default description field to the VAT ID field. Hi Guys, I'd absolutely love a feature that enabled me to upload an audio file of an article being read aloud, and have a button people could click to "Listen to this Article." The magazine The Atlantic makes great use of this feature. For forums, I can choose to disable the increase in content counts. I can't find a similar option for clubs and is even more important there, especially for private clubs. Please add such an option. Or is it already there, and I just haven't found it yet? Thanks, Markus

Hey, Some ideas to add to the Commerce system 1. To add when setting up a new product the option to enter the cost price for the product and not just the actual price sold to the customer. This way it will be possible to track the net profit and the actual income of the business by offsetting the cost of the product (maybe even adding it to the reports in the control panel, etc...) 2. To add icons to products, for example: on sale, holiday sale, deal, etc. (icon on the product image in one of the upper corners) This will attract customers to buy more and it will be possible to highlight products in sale Thnx !

We have a lot of forums that our users subscribe to for email updates and as of now, the only way to tell what forum the message came from is a small grey line that says "Posted in xxx" within the body of the message. I'd like to see the ability to either choose how you want the subject to appear (Board name, forum name, topic, poster, etc), or to fully customize the subject line. Right now I can edit the value for the mailsub__core_notification_new_content setting to show the name of the board in the subject by using the following: [{setting="board_name"}] {$content->mapped("title")|raw} But apparently there isn't an equal variable that I can pass to show …

With increasing control of profiles on FB, users are requesting their accounts to be deactivated/activated based on their choice. So for now, we created deactivated group with setting of not allowed to access site. Now when user tries to login, they get Banned message, which is more for users, who we don't want on our site. Can you please provide an option so that depending on group, we can show custom message and/or allow them to use Contact Us as well. As of today - if you are not allowed to use website, you can't even use Contact Us. That makes Contact Us not that useful for "ALL" the groups - Thanks!

I only do 2FA for Admins. Could we have a check box to remember the browser for 24 or 48 hours so I don't have to 2FA multiple times a day when I haven't even left my chair?

Please make "Display format for topics" work across the board, not just in forums. It would make extrafields able to work so much better in for example the downloads application. Case of use: A "Support me" me could link directly to a users paypal etc. A extrafield could be used a link for quicksearch similar things (tags etc.). And many more.

You can filter the table by banned (and validating, admin, etc), but not non-banned. This would be really useful when searching for spammers/bad users that match a certain pattern, where most of them have already been caught but you're looking for the ones that have slipped through the gaps.

I wish there was a clear way to quickly identify which members involved in a discussion are currently online without having to place the mouse pointer over an avatar to get the pop-up that tells me if the user is online. Something like what phpBB is doing:

ImageMagick is used by IPS to handle uploads of images, resizing them, compressing them and creating thumbnails. Why not give the community admin the option to use ImageMagick to convert uploaded images by users to WebP? As long as WebP is now accepted by IPS 4.6, I imagine that would be very simple to add this feature to the suite. I am having a great experience converting the images that I post on my community to WebP. Same quality and much less bytes than JPG or PNG or GIF.

Bulk emails are a fantastic feature that allows you to communicate news and other important stuff to your community - allowing you to target specific subsets of folk too. The addition of scheduled topics is fantastic, but this function doesn't yet exist for bulk emails. Is this something that the team is already considering? It would be super practical if I could write something up in the evening and send it out at peak hours next day without having to log in, paste the content, and click the button myself at the right time.

One thing that can drive me crazy is when layouts are not symmetrical. When viewing the first page of the blogs everything looks fine, two posts at the top and then 3 posts per row. 23 posts in total per page. However, when going to page 2,3,4 etc. 23 posts per page becomes an uneven number and ends up with a blank space at the bottom. I would suggest to change the number of blog posts from page 2 and forward to be either 21 or 24. I know it's a small and probably not important change but I hope it can be fixed at some point if not at least for the aesthetic aspects of the theme.
