It could create a system that some social networks have to hide content/comments involving a specific tag or word. This would also be extremely useful for communities that discuss certain subjects such as movies, anime, games, series... I made a demo in HTML of how it could be.

Cloudflare R2 is a storage method like Amazon S3 and both are Api Compatible. R2 is a lot cheaper than S3, there are the prices: Would it be viable for IPS to add support for it? It would be a really upgrade for IPS self hosting clients, since in R2 bandwidth is free, we only pay for storage and operations.

Allow a meta image to be uploaded per topic. Currently it just uses the default share photo so every shared topic looks the same if shared on social media (means less clicks and interest). This is something I’ve needed for years which I’ve not even been able to get a working mod for.

1. Complete in order The settings are located in both front-end and back-end and it can be confusing. I can see why the settings would be separated, but it's still confusing. Complete in order for modules: Part of the ACP settings for the Course Complete in order for lesson: Part of the module settings on the front-end 2. Next Lesson | Back to Course Similar to Next Unread in Forums, there should be an easy button to progress the user to the next lesson. This should make it easier to progress on mobile. 3. Long Lesson Name / Description This could probably be truncated for a cleaner look. 4. Custom Fields …

Hi, Please consider adding a simple admin option to choose the default Code syntax highlighting. HTML being preselected just doesn't fit to many communities and it is so unhandy to select manually something different each time the Code is inserted. Also, users are submitting content fast without even bothering to change the syntax from the menu and I have a lot of work to edit their posts. Related topics here and here.

I can't put my finger on the cause but it does seem to happen around updates where my custom settings for the Editor's toolbar are not preserved. Has anyone else see their editor revert to default for no apparent reason?

Current offered spam service by IPS is not good enough imho. And timers has changed since thgev service was introduced. How about attacking the spammers with IPS writing some clever AI anti-spam functionality and include in the packages?

Hi IPS, As per title, can you add setting to define what groups of users can see specific widget? Now we can set only visibility per device type. It is useful to display different content to e.g. guests, regular members and premium users. ~ Thanks

A thing that I don't like in (all available) forum/community software is that quotes are just regular text that is being added to answers in the editor and can be edited by the user that quoted the text. Not only does it allow regular users to "change the text of another member" (not really, but you know what I mean...), it also makes no sense that this is possible, because if one replies to quoted text, the idea is to react to that specific text. I guess this is why quoted text does not change, even when the original post has been edited, so there we already see that the original text is being honored. I don't know how to achieve this technically, but in my opinion …

Any chance you can add support for Venmo as a payment option now that they support business profiles? I get a lot of requests from members to pay via Venmo and have pushed them to use PayPal given Venmo didn't allow business transactions before. I know Venmo is owned by PayPal but for mobile users there is a strong preference and ease of use with Venmo https://venmo.com/business/start/

Could you guys post the steps needed for doing a test upgrade of an existing site? I'd like to make a duplicate of my existing site into my test url and run the 4.0 upgrade tool on it just to see what breaks.

The Achievement pre-define Rule set is handy but very limited, in my opinion. For example, I want to set user badges based on a parameter(number of points) of 3rd party app, and i can't. Maybe adding a condition milestone referring to installed custom app parameters is possible? 10x

Hi, We have quite an extensive language filter on our platform to flag and filter sensitive information. We have noticed that banned terms are able to be written in profile fields without holding/flagging the content. Is there a way to expand the language filter to filter ALL content posted on platform? It seems like this is a shortcoming with Invision. An example would be us filtering out '@gmail.com' - if you post your gmail email in the forums, it'll be rejected, but you're free to post it on your profile bio and we won't even receive a notification. This defeats the object and is causing issues. Thanks

So I want individual groups to have a certain percent off on all products but I see the usergroup discounts forces you to enter a USD amount to which the price will be towards that group and not % discount which would be much easier. How can we make it so groups have a percent off on the product?

Hi. I come with a proposal to add an additional checkbox, which is IPS Apps, to the "Theme Diff" tab. When an application is selected, changes will only be displayed in that application. If Forums were selected, it would only display changes to the System and Forums applications. I think this option would speed up changes in templates. Thank you.

It seems the only way to get push alerts on iOS is to choose "Standalone" as the display mode in the manifest. Problem I see is that if any page in the community takes a bit long too load, it looks to the user as if nothing is happening. In the standard Safari iOS browser you can see the loading indication under the address bar that pops up when you click something, but nothing like that appears in a standalone web-app. Obviously slow loading times should be investigated and resolved, but I feel there should still be some feedback from the UI that loading is in progress, otherwise the user will just try to click multiple times. I'm not sure if there's som…

Hello, Can you add in CPAdmin Dashboard in Add "Failed User Logins" This would allow to have a better visibility on the accounts of users who are at risk, and why not invite the member to change his password or modify his login.

Pages databases currently require a field to be designated as the "title" field. We're looking to use Pages as a custom form tool to accept staff applications and in that context, making the submitter come up with a title for their submission is really weird and none of the other fields are appropriate for use as a title either. So any officially supported solution that lets us avoid exposing a "title" field to the submitter would be fantastic for enabling use cases like this. Adding support for any one of the following would do the trick: Automatically generate the contents of the title field based on other information like the submission date and submitter's …

Would be nice to exclude categories from the search drop down. Products and Pages for example: I have subscriptions active, no products to sell. I use pages for one page only, ads.txt No reason for me to have these show up in the search drop down. Also whilst I'm here, Live Topics, something I haven't turned on, yet shows in notification settings, was asked by a member what they were.

You might be aware of this already, but it is a request that would be highly appreciated by myself and I think by the rest of the community as well. On my forums, I have specific forums which are not accessible for guests and also not for the google search crawler, because I prefer this forums not to be searchable through google. However, it would be great if we could set separate access (f.i. as a separate user group) for the AdSense crawler, because irrespective of whether you can google these private forums, I want the ads on these forums to be as relevant as possible. The login feature of the adsense crawler doesn't work with IPB, as far as I know. Please IPS, c…

It would be super useful for Commerce to support pay-what-you-want pricing. I mainly have subscriptions in mind but it would be nice for one-off purchases, too - think of it as letting customers leave a tip. My community always tried to have this by offering multiple subscription tiers which, for the most part, only differ in price. But offering a single subscription with a pay-what-you-want option would be a much better UX than offering a large list of very similar-looking options. Bandcamp (for selling one-time purchases), Patreon (subscriptions), SubscribeStar (also subscriptions), and other services did a lot to popularize pay-what-you-want in recent years s…
