The idea came to me that it would be nice to have the option to manually send a push notification when the site came back online. It happens that we close the site for a few hours, it would be nice to inform users that the site is now available.

Some communities are fine with four or five member groups. Others use them to subdivide their membership extensively and might end up with dozens and dozens. Would IPS consider the possibility of creating the concept of subgroups? The subgroup would have the exact same permissions as the parent group but one could assign people differently within the parent group. This would prevent creating dozens of groups and then having to worry about keeping them synced as regards settings and permissions. Not sure if this is a bug or wanted behavior, but when a user enables Google Authenticator under Account Settings > Security & Privacy, the popup window that shows the QR code cannot be closed. One has to enter a code to finish the process, but if someone decides to abort the setup, there does not seem to be a way to do so (other than manually enter a new URL in order to leave the current page).

The language key r__api has been updated to 'API' (from 'REST & OAuth'), so I guess r__api_splash needs an update, too ('Can access API page?' instead of 'Can access REST & OAuth page?').

Hello, through this I come to share a feedback with community developers. Well, I follow every release closely, I usually try to use the test versions to enjoy the features faster and try to understand the new features before the releases become official. However I am disappointed as a customer/developer. Well, I work with private online RPG servers, and I continually see how IPS emphasizes their updates on features for Entertainment, businesses like stores, blogs, schools and other categories. Since 4.7.11 there is this Cookie Consent tool which is not really good. The tool apparently only recognizes cookies that are included in the standard scope of the software, own possibly just as important cookies can be rejected and thus the site may no longer be properly usable. The tool can not be deactivated and so it is made difficult to use your own Consent tool with more freedom. Optional cookies can be enabled or disabled, but I cannot choose which of the optional cookies I want to have and which I do not want to have. The idea behind this is ingenious, you can save costs for a third-party tool and do something for the privacy at the same time…

Hey fam, I have a bunch of designs for apparel for my website. I used to use Shopify to power my store. It was connected to Printful. SUPER convenient because when someone would place an order in my store via Shopify, it would send a notification to Printful and everything was handled: printing, shipping etc. I would love to have my store hosted on my forum (Shopify cost me around $75 a month to use). When someone places an order, Printful gets the order and the fulfillment process begins. Currently, there is no Printful x IPB integration. Wondering... what do you guys do for commerce products? Hi, A suggestion: It would be very helpful if buttons appearing in the header (specifically, the sign-in button) could have its own colour controlled separately to Primary Button Colour. It is common (almost standard) for backgrounds to be white (or a very pale colour). Whereas, headers are most often darker. I'd like to be able to place a white sign-in button in the header, but white buttons disappear against white backgrounds in other parts of the forum. Conversely, a dark sign-in button looks crap in the header and is more easily missed. Of course there are inevitable compromises to be made in these systems. Given the instability of Twitter recently and some crankiness of Facebook in the past, I thought it would be a good suggestion to have a way to filter the member list by login method. This way if we were to plan to disable a login method, we would be able to reach out to those members to ask them to pick another login method.

Hi, When pruning members in the ACP, no pop-up window is shown asking us what we want to do with the users' content (delete/hide/leave), differently to the behavior we have when deleting a single user. If we want to mass-delete contents created by several users, we need to delete each user individually, which can take us literally hours of work. Based on that, my suggestion is for you to add this option in a coming release. Thanks.

Hi, If we delete a user from its profile in the ACP, we are asked what to do with the user's content (delete/hide/leave). However, clicking the "X" button in the member's list (see below) performs the "leave" option. This is really annoying! The system could show a popup asking what we want to do with the content the user posted. Not to mention that there is no way to mass delete spammers/banned users, functionality that has been already asked by several board owners... 😉 Thanks!

When approving an account deletion request, the message says: "Please confirm that you want to delete %s. The member's content will be left in the database, but flagged as Guest content." What does this mean exactly? Will the content show up under an anonymous guest post, a post under the original username with an added "(Guest)" to it? And why is there no option to delete the user's content? When deleting an account manually, we get all sorts of options. If that is really missing here, then I suggest you add this to account deletion requests.

Hi, This is an old issue for us. We can limit signatures only by number of lines, but this is insufficient for us, as some users are abusing this and posting really long lines, so their signatures are huge. It would make more send for us to limit the number of characters, not lines. Another suggestion for signatures would be that links to contents such as topics wouldn't be converted to their "embedded" version, but kept a normal URL link. Currently we use a custom plugin to fix this, and it would be nice if this was a core feature. Thanks.

Good day. I was curious if we could in the future add a "Select All" box for Spammers and Banned in order to delete them all at once? At this point we have to delete each one individually and it can take a considerable amount of time if you have a few dozen. Thanks!

One thing that I miss a lot in group promotions is a rule that fires when a user is (or is not) a member of a certain club. (Of course clubs have to be activated on the community for this.) This would add much more flexibility to automated promotions. Can you please consider adding this in a future release?

Hi IPS, Since v2 API changes the Miscellaneous charge on invoice is no longer processed by PayPal if value is negative. Why negative? Till this day we used it to add discount to custom invoice as there is no other option to do it. I think V2 has dedicated field to process discounts.. can you handle that? since v2 is more strict and removed us ability to add discounts on custom invoices the way it was used till now. Thanks

Is there a way I might have missed, or perhaps an app, that would give registration instructions prior to registration? Right now, the guest is presented with a registration form and nothing else. I would like to give them some guidance (on for example username policy). Others might want to give their guests that final push for the registration, that final USP. Thoughts? Thx.

Hello, Admins and moderators should have a place to see all club's invitations request. I mean, I've created 10 clubs. I will create a few more. I have to go to EACH club every day to see the invitations (requests)? Approve them or reject them. There should be a single place where admins/moderators can see ALL the invitations from ALL the clubs they have created (manage) in a single place. Thanks

This is currently not possible. Use case is where (frequently) we get alerts from an email provider like hotmail that an email was marked as spam by a user (not a fail, delayed email, etc..). When we see these we like to unsubscribe folks since it's clear they won't log in to do that. The steps to do that now don't scale (too many).
