  1. I saw that your test post went to moderation
  2. @Jim M I have recently created a specific forum where readers of my newsletter who are "guests" would be able to answer some fun questions to build a sense of community. After I created the forum I tried testing it out and realized that it wasn't letting guests post without moderator approval. I can't find where my settings are off. ACP -> Members -> Groups -> edit guests -> Content tab -> Require approval before content shows? Is unchecked (see screenshot below) Members > Groups > [specific] Group (Guests) > Permissions > Reply to Topics Is Checked (see screenshot below) Community > Forums > [specific] Forum > Permissions > Posts must be approved? is unchecked (see screenshot below) https://hub.woodburnsociety.com/forums/topic/48-what-fuels-your-creative-fire-whats-in-your-cup-mug-glass-or-tankard/
  3. No one has an answer yet, I know this must be possible!?!
  4. Tried those already . . . This box is checked: Members > Groups > [specific] Group (Guests) > Permissions > Reply to Topics This box is unchecked: Community > Forums > [specific] Forum > Permissions > Posts must be approved? Guests are still not allowed to reply without post approval
  5. I enabled the Bypass content moderation for the guest group (on the content tab) and the replies are still going to moderation.
  6. I created a forum where guests have the ability to see, read, and reply to topics but when I am testing it out, the site does not show their reply without moderator approval. I have looked everywhere and I don't see where I change this permission. I also want them to be able to vote in a poll along with replying but it appears guests aren't allowed to do that without registering.

  9. I have been looking at all the different settings in the Control Panel and I can't figure out how to remove the option for some membership groups to add files for download to the Download section. If I can't turn it off for some membership groups, how do I turn off the whole download section of the forum? New and a little overwhelmed by all the settings!
