[[Template core/front/global/mobileFooterBar is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date.
AintNobody replied to AintNobody's post in a topic in Invision Community 5: Beta Testing's Beta DiscussionI did successfully from Beta 9.1 to 10, no issues. That's my point, there's something more to this, but I can only try so much before trying to reach out. Which is the purpose of this. The most recent beta version available in the client area indicates Invision Community 4. I get it's a busy time, but I can't resolve this myself, because I've tried what I can. 😞

[[Template core/front/global/mobileFooterBar is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date.
AintNobody replied to AintNobody's post in a topic in Invision Community 5: Beta Testing's Beta DiscussionI'll try re-uploading a fresh set of files again. 🤷🏻♂️ Why does the file when you click to download the Beta 10 of v5, say 4? @Marc

[[Template core/front/global/mobileFooterBar is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date.
AintNobody replied to AintNobody's post in a topic in Invision Community 5: Beta Testing's Beta DiscussionI manually uploaded the files twice from the directory, no issue with uploading and nothing failed. I successfully upgraded to v5 beta 10 - I would have thought this would have picked things missing up? Could there be something else going on?

[[Template core/front/global/mobileFooterBar is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date.
I have checked that the table core_theme_editor_settings exists. ✅ I have ran the recovery mode to ensure the v5 theme is correct. ✅ /sitefolder/ and /domain/ has been changed by me. My site details are correct.

Marquee App?
AintNobody replied to FeigelInc's post in a topic in Invision Community 5: Beta Testing's Beta DiscussionI have asked Terabyte to release a better version than Taman's newsticker app. He's mentioned building something from the ground up for v5, so if you are interested in something more comprehensive let me know. This could be something sold by Tera, instead of being custom.

Status updates have been removed in v5
I understand the frustration. It's a common issue with each major release. Invision can't always predict which features will be a success or what might need removing, like the social media promotion. I relied on statuses until 4.7, something I believe a third-party developer could easily pick up. It's promising to see that @Daniel F has added it to his consideration, which is the best scenario. The removal of physical products that require dispatching is similar to this situation. It's disappointing that the create menu was removed simply because a few people didn't like it, including a higher-up member of the Invision team. It was super convenient, and instead of adding a way to hide or turn it off, it got removed. Some things make sense to forget, but a lot of v4.7 feels like a roll of the dice. As long as third-party developers can pick up the slack, I personally have no issue, but I can express my disappointment. The status feature had a really annoying bug where responding to one would cause the page to hang, and it took ages to fix. It makes me wonder if there was a point, considering it's now removed. I'm impressed with v5, though disappointed too. I hope these concerns can be tackled closer to the full release. Provided Invision doesn't leave us without key features we once used, with no way of filling the gap, I can explore other means. The important thing is to feel listened to, understood, and not ignored.

Beta 9 is now on the table!
AintNobody replied to Matt's post in a topic in Invision Community 5: Beta Testing's Beta DiscussionPerhaps Invision would consider adding a feature at user level, that would allow them to choose which the first option is? Or, does it change based on what the default feed is?

Updated dev site to v5 license key issue
AintNobody replied to AintNobody's post in a topic in Invision Community 5: Beta Testing's Beta DiscussionI'm sorry, the errors tend to go over my head. Most look related to the templates I use with Pages. However, this seems related to the new mobile navigation - I can't find errors relating to it. [[Template core/front/global/mobileFooterBar is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]] Sorry, I missed your response.

v5 and the lack of physical products
It would be a relief if this is the case, because losing the store's ability to sell physical products would be a nightmare. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

v5 and the lack of physical products
Would Invision consider leaving (or implementing) a way for a third-party dev to return the feature for v5? This would be the best case scenario, and a middle ground. I've pitched further information to @Matt. It would be a huge blow if allowing shipment/delivery extensions to be added.

Beta 9 is now on the table!
AintNobody replied to Matt's post in a topic in Invision Community 5: Beta Testing's Beta DiscussionI have an idea: When you place the same type of widget side by side, why not allow the data they both pull to be linked? Imagine you have two widgets of the same type placed side by side on a page. Instead of each widget working independently and pulling its own data separately, I propose they should be able to link and share the same data source. This means that if you update the data in one widget, the other widget automatically reflects that change.

Updated dev site to v5 license key issue
AintNobody replied to AintNobody's post in a topic in Invision Community 5: Beta Testing's Beta DiscussionYes, I reuploaded the files as you suggested. I also realised that the menu for the widgets was placed differently in v5. Yet it didn't show up before, I'm just trying to fix the template issues not caused by third-party stuff. Thank you.

Updated dev site to v5 license key issue
AintNobody replied to AintNobody's post in a topic in Invision Community 5: Beta Testing's Beta DiscussionI think my account on my dev site v5 has an issue with the permissions, I still can't control the widgets.

Updated dev site to v5 license key issue
AintNobody replied to AintNobody's post in a topic in Invision Community 5: Beta Testing's Beta DiscussionThe create button is gone in v5? 😮 I've tried this. 😞 @Marc @Jim M: Has anyone reported that if there's no space in the comment field, you cannot quote someone? I had to manually press enter in order to quote the above.

Updated dev site to v5 license key issue
AintNobody replied to AintNobody's post in a topic in Invision Community 5: Beta Testing's Beta DiscussionThank you, I have updated the information and the location of FTP. You should see the dev.url there. Just to point out: I don't have the option to refresh the license. Also, I am not sure if the default skin(s) are right. I haven't edited them, but they just don't seem right to me.

Updated dev site to v5 license key issue
I have just upgraded my dev site from 4.7.19 to the latest beta of v5. I have this message: " This license key has already been activated. Your license key entitles you to one installation only. If you need to change the URL associated with your license, contact technical support." Nothing has changed, it's the same URL listed in my client area but I still can't get it to be accepted.

[Resolved] Missing icons ACP/Site
I have checked my file settings for the locations, cleared the cache, even purged CloudFlare's. I don't know why this is happening. So, weird. It's suddenly stopped. I'vee been trying to resolve this since 12pm London time. 2 hours later, it suddenly retuns after posting this. My sites haunted. 😛
