Custom SVG badges not displaying correctly in 'Recent Achievements' widget [5.0.5]

Under Achievements, I've custom badges using SVG files.

When I add the 'Recent Achievements' widget, these custom badges do not appear correctly.
Specifically, they only display when the widget layout is set to 'Grid' or 'Wallpaper'. In all other layouts, the SVG badges fail to display.
