Setting default index in pages

Will setting a default index in V5 pages work if the software's installed in root/www instead of a subfolder without anything additional? Thanks

Not quite sure what you mean. It should work as it does not where if you have pages set as the default application, you would then set your page in Pages as a default that you want to show.
