PanSevence Posted December 5 Posted December 5 Will we be able to send files larger than 2GB in IC5? In IC4, this is the maximum limit due to the data range size in the table.
Marc Posted December 5 Posted December 5 Im not aware of any specific change in this regard, but have tagged our developers to see if we can shed some light on this for you
Management Matt Posted December 5 Management Posted December 5 The only place we keep the raw file contents in a table is in theme resources, elsewhere it's fine. We chunk uploads and they get sent straight to disk/S3. PanSevence and Marc 2

No, the issue was with storing the file size in the database in version V4. You can upload a maximum file size of 2GB otherwise, you exceed the size type in the table. I described this in the topic below. Hence, my question: will V5 not have this problem? https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/topic/475839-issue-with-uploading-large-files-over-100mb-need-help/#findComment-2956508 Edited December 5 by PanSevence
Randy Calvert Posted December 5 Posted December 5 In general you should not be storing files that big in MySQL. But I have not seen this change from 4 to 5 and honestly don’t expect it to change. It would be better to use a storage bucket for files of those size.

Baian007 Posted December 6 Posted December 6 I can see you are using it in the market section . The download link is: "https://f005.backblazeb2.com/file/cloud3-media/a319035/monthly_2024_02/CKEditor_IPS_Plugins_zip.c4492fc90bcedffb609c3b259e841ebb?Authorization=3_20241206104322_5931acbc874829d80af9f917_45643ba040be3df54bb981c10ca0bcba033efe9a_005_20241206110322_0024_dnld&b2ContentDisposition=attachment%3B+filename%3D"CKEditor_IPS_Plugins.zip"&b2Expires=Fri%2C+06+Dec+2024+11%3A03%3A22+GMT&b2ContentType=application%2Fzip" But according to Stuart Silvester "No, it isn't compatible so it won't work." that makes me confused too, could you please check your settings and tell me what i am doing wrong?? IC V5 beta 6.
Marc Posted December 6 Posted December 6 You are not doing anything wrong. Its not compatible at present, but we hope to have it compatible in the future. Please note, our site may well be set up very differently Baian007 1
