Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted November 23, 2024Nov 23 I have a couple of words which trigger the word filter. I have selected the following option for the trigger: Action to take: Hold content for moderator approval When triggered, the following message is displayed in the post header: This content must be approved before it can be edited. But the content is editable (by the member). I do not know if the above is an incorrect text string or if the post should be uneditable.

But the message remains editable by the member, contrary to the displayed message. It hardly matters to me, but it might for someone else. I just happened to notice while performing some unrelated tests.
November 26, 2024Nov 26 It should indeed be editable by the member, but I can see what you mean in terms of the message. I will get a bug report in for that

I will get a bug report in for that Hi Marc, I've had reason to come back to this. As you indicated, the misleading message was fixed in an update. However, contrary to the above, I have confirmed with a test account that a post queued for moderator approval (because it includes a trigger word) cannot be edited by the member. This is inconvenient because in these situations we usually ask the member to edit the post for content and we will then approve it.
