I want to test out the Blog feature, but I don't have the ability to create a blog using the front-end UI. Here is what I see on my trial:


 

I assumed there was a Permission check I needed to add, but no 'Blog' application permission sets appears for my user groups (I see them for the other applications): 

 

 

Am I only able to create blogs through the back-end dashboard (that does seem to work) but I'd like end-users to be able to manage their own blog space without moderator assistance. Let me know if I'm missing a configuration option or if there's a problem on my instance.

This is a group option, so you would need to go to Members->Groups and edit the group, rather than editing node permissions for the group. You will see a blog tab on there
