Hi folks,

My host (who i'll leave nameless) was migrating some data and we didn't have full backups of the forums beforehand but have had new content since so don't want to ask them to restore that from the old source and overwrite but in the process, I've been stuck with an announcement that still has a banner showing, but does not offer me a way to remove it (I have looked in ModCP at announcements and it is not listed. I'm curious what I need to get done to actually clear this issue.

 

In the modCP this announcement is no longer listed, so what I'm looking for is to ask is there a way to clean this remnant from the database safely so the banner disappears?

Nevermind, self-solved. It was system cache (which i'd honestly never actually had to clear, but recommended by the support section in the admin cp so I gave it a shot, go figure. 🙂 )
