Hello.

I have a Invision Community forum that is hosed on Invision Community's platform.

I am planning on migrating the whole forum to another domain.

Is it possible to have a 1:1 301 redirect from the old URLs to the new URLs, so that Google and other crawlers can notice that the forum has changed domain?

example:

forum.old.com/ > forum.new.com/
forum.old.com/thread-3/ > forum.new.com/thread-3/
forum.old.com/post-1231231231/ > forum.new.com/post-1231231231/

Typically, any 301 redirects after a domain change would be up to yourself to facilitate as the Cloud offering can only have 1 domain tied to it at a time.

If you have a web server located for your old root domain, this would be fairly easy to facilitate via a .htaccess redirect from the old subdomain to the new subdomain.
