Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications Matt November 11, 2024Nov 11
Posted January 29, 2024Jan 29 I migrated a little more than 8k users into IPS about a year ago. 7k of the 8k members are set as "Currently unsubscribed". I can only guess that this was done in the import process. Can I toggle all users back to "Currently subscribed"?
January 29, 2024Jan 29 If you don't want to edit all users from ACP manually (I guess not), the only other way would be to run a SQL query to mass update all members. Can you access phpMyAdmin (or a similar software) to run a query? If you're hosted on the IPS Cloud or don't know your way around a database, it's best if you avoid doing it. And if you run it, always be sure to make a backup first.
January 29, 2024Jan 29 Author I am in the IPS cloud and am not a developer. Any other suggestions? The current state makes mass mailing features of IPS basically useless.
January 29, 2024Jan 29 Author While we are on the topic are Newsletter and "Bulk Email" the same thing?

January 30, 2024Jan 30 Yes, it's easy enough. Send me a PM as a reminder and I'll look into it tomorrow. I'm on my phone right now.
