Recieving Error to Run Support Tool, Support Tool unable to run

Hey Invision,

I am running into an error that says this

[[Template forums/front/topics/post is throwing an error. This theme may be out of date. Run the support tool in the AdminCP to restore the default theme.]]

Not sure what it means but it is littering the forums and showing up instead of actual posts.

It generally means either your theme or a 3rd party item on your site is out of date. Please check this on a default unaltered theme, with all 3rd party items disabled

How can I troubleshoot this, enabling and disabling one item at a time?

I would disable EVERYTHING (all third party applications and plugins), and switch to a default theme. While everything is off, in ACP visit the support section and clear the system cache. 

Then test… if it’s working, you know it’s something that is disabled. Turn things back on one by one till you find your culprit.
