Claudia999 Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 I was creating a bulk mail. I wanted to send it to all users who specified "Essen" in a profile field (a city in Germany). But then among the recipients were users who had specified "Hessen" in the profile field (a state in Germany). Same problem woul be if an user specified Wittenberg and another user Wittenberge – two different cities. To avoid wrong bulk mail sendings let's choose between exact matches and non-exact matches or use only exact matches in member filters.
Richard Arch Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 Yes, I agree. I work with an other system that does an equal search on the field when you prefix the text with an equals sign. That gives the user the ability to build complex queries by mixing LIKE and EQUAL operators.
